Four Comanchero bikies have been charged with allegedly assaulting a NSW man and setting his house on fire after demanding money.

The men were arrested during raids on 10 properties in the state's west on Wednesday as part of an investigation into the alleged extortion of a 51-year-old man in August.

Investigators seized more than a dozen firearms, bullets, drugs, mobile phones and bikie paraphernalia.

The men, aged 50, 37, 35 and 32, have been charged with various offences - including detaining for advantage, demanding money with menaces with intent to steal, and assault.

All are members of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang.

Two other Comancheros, aged 47 and 27, were also charged with gun and drug offences following the raids. They are all due to face court at later dates.

"We will not tolerate any form of thuggery and will continue to knock on their doors and put them in the back of police cars until these criminal groups are dismantled," Detective Superintendent Deborah Wallace said in a statement on Thursday.
