Child indecently assaulted in restaurant

A 29-year-old man has been charged after allegedly walking up to a small child in a high chair in a Sydney fast food restaurant and touching him inappropriately between his legs.

Police say the man was charged with aggravated indecent assault after the incident, which took place in Lansvale, in a restaurant on the Hume Highway.

He'll appear in Liverpool Local Court on August 1.
