CCTV released in hunt for Sydney thugs

A vicious assault that has left a 29-year-old man in a coma is the subject of a fresh appeal by NSW Police some three weeks after the Parramatta attack.

NSW Police say a man in CCTV footage they released on Wednesday may be able to assist with their inquiries into the serious group attack on Vineshwar Pal in early November.

He was found unconscious in a front yard in Parramatta on November 4 following reports of an early morning fight.

Mr Pal was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition and has not regained consciousness.
