Car impounded after 11 teens go for snack
AAP
A Melbourne mum may have her 5-seater car impounded after her son allegedly stacked 10 mates into the boot and back seat when he took it for a midnight snack run.
Police found five teenagers packed into the boot and four squeezed into the back seat when they pulled over the car in Langwarrin shortly before 12.45am on Thursday.
The 18-year-old driver from St Kilda is expected to be charged with a range of driving offences, while police say he'll have to explain to his mum he's been issued with a notice to surrender her car.
