Car fire blankets Sydney airport in smoke

A car has burst into flames at a car park at Sydney airport’s international terminal, spewing thick smoke across the precinct and causing traffic delays.
Airport fire authorities were alerted to the blaze in the outdoor car park just after 8am.
The vehicle was fully engulfed, with flames seen shooting from the bonnet and from below.

NSW Fire and Rescue also attended and reported the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Traffic was slowed through the terminal while smoke blanketed the area.
