Car crashes into classroom at Sydney childcare centre

Several children have escaped injury after a car ploughed into a classroom at a preschool in Sydney’s west this morning.

Emergency services were called to the centre at the corner of Daniels Road and Shinnick Drive, Oakhurst, about 10.30am, after reports of a crash.

Images obtained by 9NEWS showed a gaping hole in the classroom the front of the facility after the car was removed by fire crews.

No one was injured in the incident, and all children were accounted for.

Police investigations are underway, a NSW Police spokeswoman told 9news.com.au.
