Bushland search for missing NSW man

A bushland search will begin on Thursday for a NSW man who vanished from the Lake Macquarie region five months ago.

Police say they have new information that might help solve the disappearance of Christopher Daunt, 27, last seen in the Lake Macquarie region on March 29.

Police aircraft, trail bikes and all-terrain vehicles will be involved in Thursday's search of bushland in the Killingsworth area, about 20km from the Lake Macquarie suburb of Gateshead where Mr Daunt was living.
