Burst water main causes chaos on Sydney's Upper North Shore

A burst water main has flooded several houses on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Much of Carbeen Avenue, St Ives, has been covered with water and residents can be seen trying to bail water out of their homes.

NSW Fire and Rescue said several homes have sustained flood damage due to the heavy flow of water.
