Boy seriously injured after bike hits car

A teenage cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a car on the NSW central coast.
Police say the 14-year-old was not wearing a helmet when he smashed into a car on Gumnut Close in Glenning Valley on Monday afternoon.
The boy has been taken to Westmead Children's Hospital with serious injuries while the vehicle's driver, a 52-year-old woman, has been treated for shock and taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
