Boy in Sydney hospital after dog attack

A boy is in hospital with facial injuries after being bitten by dog in Sydney's west.
The 11-year-old was playing in the backyard of a Doonside house on Tuesday at about 5.30pm when he was bitten by the dog.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to hospital with cuts to his forehead and arms.
