Boy, 12, taken from Sunshine Coast

Police in Queensland are seeking urgent public assistance after a 12-year-old boy was seen being pulled into a car on the Sunshine Coast.

Detectives on Friday night said the boy could be at "significant risk" after he was put in the hatchback on Clover Hill Drive, Mudgeeraba.

He was last seen a white shirt and dark coloured shorts and is Asian in appearance, the Queensland Police Service said in a statement.

The vehicle he was seen in may have had the Queensland registration 760TNH.
