Body on beach is Port Macquarie man

A body found on a Port Macquarie beach has been identified by police as a local man.
The body of the 77-year-old man was discovered by an early morning walker on Town Beach before 6am on Tuesday morning.
Police have not released the man's name at the request of the family.
