Body of missing NSW diver located on rocks

The body of a 57-year-old man who went missing while diving off the NSW south coast is believed to have been found.

The man was reported missing on Friday morning after going diving about 8.15am with a family member at Barragga Bay, south of Bermagui.

A man's body was found on rocks near Barragga Point after midday on Saturday. It is believed to be the diver's body but is not yet formally identified.

The search for the man's body began about 10am on Friday and continued until 7pm before resuming on Saturday morning.
