Woman found dead on Nobbys Beach in Newcastle

A woman's body has been found on a Newcastle beach.

A member of the public found the body on Nobbys Beach about 6am today.

It is believed the woman was in her 30s.

Police have started an investigation and will prepare a report for the coroner.

The woman has not been identified and police are appealing for information.
