Body found in water near Rose Bay wharf in Sydney’s east
Emergency services have rushed to Sydney’s eastern suburbs after a man’s body was spotted in the water near a Rose Bay wharf.
Police were called to the waterfront along Vickery Avenue about 5pm on Thursday following reports of a body in the water. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is under way, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
