Body found in search for missing NSW man
AAP
A body has been found in Newcastle Harbour a week after police revealed a missing man may have gone swimming there alone after leaving a nightclub.
The body was discovered in the water near Fullerton Street, Stockton just before midday on Wednesday.
Last week police launched an appeal to find 20-year-old Jackson Baker who was at a nightclub with his girlfriend, but left alone at around 1.30am last Thursday.

Tug boat workers reported seeing a man swimming in the harbour about half an hour later.
Mr Baker has not been seen or heard from since.
Police say the body found in the harbour is yet to be formally identified and will need to undergo forensic testing.
