Bear arms: pistols found inside teddy

A large, not-so-cuddly teddy bear packed with an illicit arsenal of pistols, ammunition and cash has been found during a raid in Sydney's south.

A 23-year-old man was charged with a number of firearm offences after police say they found two glock pistols, bullets, cash and paperwork inside a teddy bear at a Turrella home on Thursday.

The man was refused bail to appear in Sutherland Shire Local court on Friday.
