Woman suffers broken leg after car crashes into pedestrians at shopping centre

A woman has suffered a broken leg after a four-wheel-drive crashed into pedestrians at a shopping centre in Sydney’s north-west.

The crash happened at 1pm at Century Circuit in Baulkham Hills where the car was travelling at low speed before it came to rest against a pole.

Two women aged in their 20s were also treated by paramedics at the scene.

A witness said there were "crowds of people" at the scene following the accident.

The driver of the car is assisting police.
