Balaclava burglar caught red-handed
AAP
A burglar has allegedly been sprung by police in the middle of breaking into a home in Sydney's west.
They say the 38-year-old was still wearing a balaclava when officers arrested him inside the Merrylands residence about lunchtime yesterday.
If that wasn't enough, he was also sprung with the electronics and jewellery he was allegedly planning to make off with.
