Baird unveils his 12 commandments
MIKE'S 12-STEP PLAN: PREMIER'S TOP PRIORITIES FOR NSW
* Create 150,000 new jobs by 2019
* Deliver key infrastructure projects - including WestConnex road revamp, Westmead Hospital upgrade and Sydney Metro light rail links - on time and on budget
* Cut the proportion of domestic violence perpetrators who re-offend within 12 months by five per cent
* Ensure 81 per cent of hospital patients in emergency departments are in and out within four hours
* Reduce child obesity rates by five per cent over the next decade
* Increase the proportion of NSW students in the top two NAPLAN testing brackets by eight per cent
* Keep kids safer by decreasing the rate of children and young children who are re-reported as being at risk of significant harm by 15 per cent
* Push up the proportion of young people who move from specialist homelessness services to long-term accommodation by 10 per cent
* Double the number of indigenous Australians in senior leadership roles, and put women in senior government roles on par with men within 10 years
* Reduce litter by 40 per cent before 2020, including by introducing a container deposit scheme
* Push through 90 per cent of housing applications within 40 days
* Improve customer satisfaction with government service, to be monitored by a dashboard tracker on the premier's own mobile phone and tablet
