Armed robbery at Sydney brothel

A brothel in Sydney's inner west has been robbed at gunpoint by four men.

Police say the armed robbery took place at the Annandale brothel at about 1.10am on Sunday but no one was hurt.

"Four men, one allegedly armed with a gun and another armed with a knife, entered the brothel on Parramatta Road and threatened staff.

"Staff complied with their demands and they took an amount of cash before running from the premises," police said in a statement.

A crime scene has been established and police are urging anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
