Cronulla Sharks prop Andrew Fifita is reportedly under investigation over an alleged road rage incident in Sydney’s south yesterday.
Fifita was questioned by Miranda police after he allegedly punched and kicked a car that had been driving behind him at Taren Point, Fairfax Media reported.
Police were told Fifita allegedly threw an object at the car on Captain Cook Bridge around 2.30pm before both cars pulled over.
It’s alleged the 25-year-old threatened the driver before punching and kicking panels on the car.
Fifita reportedly turned up to Miranda police station to give a statement.
No arrest was made but charges are being considered.
The incident follows an early season end for Fifita, after he suffered a broken arm in the Sharks’ 16-12 loss to the Warriors.
