Allegedly drunk P-plater hits street pole

A P-plater who crashed his car into a telegraph pole in Sydney's southwest was nearly four times over the legal alcohol limit, police say.
The 20-year-old man allegedly returned a breath test of 0.18 after being arrested at 4.45am on Sunday in Wattle Grove and was taken to Liverpool police station.
The man's licence has been suspended and he will appear at Liverpool Local Court on July 15.
