Alleged Nimbin drug ring members charged
Four more members of an alleged drug-supply gang in Australia's self-proclaimed cannabis capital have been charged following raids on NSW's far north coast.
About 5kg of cannabis, MDMA tablets, ice, two firearms and an electronic stun gun were among the items seized during six raids in Nimbin and Lismore on Tuesday, police say.
Police also seized $55,000 cash that is alleged to be the proceeds of crime.
Eleven men, aged between 21 and 35, were arrested and charged with a range of offences including consorting and supplying a prohibited drug.
Another four men, aged between 21 and 26, were also charged after they handed themselves in to police on Monday and Tuesday.
Police said all 15 men were refused bail and are due to appear in Lismore Local Court over the next two days.
