The man charged over a bloody five-year shooting and bombing spree known as the Family Law Court murders will remain behind bars until next week.

Leonard John Warwick faced Sydney's Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday, three decades after he allegedly began blowing up the homes of judges and a courthouse in Parramatta.

It's alleged Warwick was also responsible for an explosion at a Jehovah's Witness hall in 1985, which killed one and left 13 others badly injured.

He did not apply for bail and is due to appear by video link in Central Local Court next Thursday.
