A Malaysian and a Hong Kong national have been charged after customs officers found 100 kilograms of methamphetamines hidden in a shipping container marked "kids toys".

The drugs, which have an estimated street value of $65 million, were found on February 8 hidden beneath a false floor in a container shipped from China.

On Wednesday, customs officers and Australian Federal Police accompanied the crate on a delivery to Prestons in southwestern Sydney, where they arrested a 30-year-old Hong Kong man and 37-year-old Malaysian man in a carpark.

The two will appear at Central Local Court on Thursday charged with serious drug offences.
