Accused drug chauffeur to face Syd court

A man used his black Mercedes hire car to chauffeur cocaine rather than clients around Sydney's CBD and eastern suburbs, police say.

After a two-month investigation, the 41-year-old man was caught selling two grams of cocaine in a Haymarket car park on Monday afternoon, police said.

He was charged with supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and granted conditional bail to appear in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court in January.
