Woman charged over alleged kidnap plot in northern NSW
A woman has been charged over an alleged plot to kidnap and assault a man on the New South Wales Far North Coast.
Police began investigating allegations a 49-year-old woman was attempting to solicit the kidnapping and assault of a 52-year-old man she knew, in August this year.
Detectives arrested a 49-year-old woman at a home in Pottsville at about 4pm yesterday.

She was charged with threaten injury to person with intent to commit indictable offence, and recruit other to assist in carrying out criminal activity.
She was refused bail and will appear in court today.
The investigations are continuing.
