Abducted 12-year-old boy found safe and well after NSW Police amber alert

NSW Police say a 12-year-old boy abducted on Tuesday has been found safe and well.

An amber alert was issued today for the boy after he was abducted from Culcairn.

Police said he had "been safely located safe and well about 10pm tonight".

"Police would like to thank the public and members of the media for their assistance in relation to this matter.

"Investigations are ongoing and no further information is available at this stage."
