Woman sustains chest injuries after being trampled by horse in Sydney's north west
A woman has been rushed to hospital after being trampled by a horse in Sydney's north-west.
The 22-year-old was riding a horse on a property at Glenorie when she fell from her mount and then was trampled by the animal.
She sustained chest injuries, prompting NSW Ambulance to task a CareFlight Rapid Response helicopter to land in a nearby paddock.

CareFlight's specialist doctor and a NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic performed a clinical assessment on the woman, including an ultrasound to evaluate her internal injuries, and administered pain relief.
Once road crews arrived she was transported via ambulance to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
