Two people involved in a high-speed chase, which ended in chaos on a busy Sydney road last night, have been arrested in relation to an alleged attempted murder in Queensland.

Queensland Police say the people arrested after the chase were wanted in relation to an incident when they allege a 37-year-old man fell from a sixth-floor balcony onto the first-floor balcony of the Turbot Street unit complex in Brisbane, about 5am on December 5.

NSW Police confirmed they were attempting to locate a man and woman who were wanted on outstanding warrants, before pursuing and arresting them on the Pacific Highway in Killara.
