Gunman remains on run after Western Sydney shooting

A gunman is on the run after a home in Sydney's west was peppered with bullets overnight.
Police swarmed Freeman Avenue in Canley Vale after shots were fired at a house around 11pm yesterday.
There were no reported injuries.

Forensic specialist police remain on scene, searching for clues.
