NSW man films his own arrest

Footage has emerged of a heated blue between a man and a group of policemen at a NSW train station.

The clip, posted online today, shows a commuter filming on his mobile phone when he is asked to take a seat by officers while waiting to board a train.

However, the situation quickly escalates when the man is asked to present his identification.

"Why is he asking for my ID?" the man asks, as he pans the camera to show the four figures standing over him.

The officers begin to yell, demanding that he complies, with one slapping the phone away.

Shaky vision then shows the man being wrestled to the ground.

"You're under arrest!" an officer tells him, as he repeats "What the f---'s going on?"

The 44-second video, which was shared on Facebook page Lismore Radio, has received mixed reactions online, with many claiming the four officers acted with unnecessary force.

NSW Police have been contacted for comment.

It comes just weeks after the teenager caught in last year's Mardi Gras arrest controversy spoke of his relief that charges against him had been dropped.

Footage of the incident showed police handcuffing Jamie Jackson, gripping his neck in a lock-hold, slamming him against the ground and stepping on his back, sparking a flood of outrage.

The video, in which Mr Jackson is seen crying and repeating that he "didn't do anything wrong", went global and has since been viewed almost 2 million times.
