NSW man charged with trying to kill wife

An eastern Sydney man will face court accused of trying to strangle his wife.
Police charged the Randwick man on Sunday afternoon after a string of alleged domestic violence incidents earlier this month.
The 35-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, attempting to strangle with intent to murder, sexual assault and being armed with intent.

He spent the night behind bars and is due to appear before Waverley Local Court on Monday.
