NSW man charged after partner stabbed

A man has been charged with the attempted murder of his partner in Sydney's south.

Police had been searching for the man since the 25-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times at her home in Turella last Friday.

The man was arrested in Tamworth in regional NSW on Monday and will front court there on Tuesday to face charges, including attempted murder and stalking.

The woman remains in a serious condition in hospital.
