NSW government hints at support for medical marijuana

Dan Haslam says marijuana is essential to his quality of life.

Diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer four years ago, cannabis has helped with nausea and appetite and he's also using cannabis oil to try and halt the progress of his disease.

Premier Mike Baird would only issue a statement today saying he was sympathetic to the views of the Haslam family, but it's clear his Government is looking for a solution.
