A second body has been found in the search for two Sydney fathers who went missing during floods in regional NSW.

NSW Police said the remains were found after a search 50km from Boorowa, three-and-a-half hours drive south-west of Sydney.

Bob Chahine and Ghosn Ghosn are believed to have been riding in the back tray of a ute when it was swept off a flooded causeway at Prestons Creek in the southern tablelands last week.

The other body was found a few days ago.

The other two men were in the cabin of the vehicle, and swam to safety.

Police divers found the body this morning.

"While the bodies are yet to be formally identified, they are believed to be the missing men," NSW Police said.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
