NSW driver charged after passenger hurt

A man has been charged with dangerous driving after the car he was driving was involved in a crash in the NSW Northern Tablelands that left his passenger in a critical condition.
A 35-year-old woman suffered two broken legs, a fractured wrist and internal bleeding after the Ford Territory she was in collided with a BMW on the New England Highway in Armidale about 10pm on Tuesday.
Police arrested the 40-year-old driver of the Territory on Friday, charging him with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily.

The man, who also had his licence suspended, was granted conditional bail to appear at Armidale Local Court in April.
