Three teenagers have been charged after another day of the NSW Police's newest task force cracking down on gangland crime in Sydney.

The teenagers, aged between 18 and 19, are allegedly members of KVT, a youth gang known to work as footsoldiers for the Alameddine crime family.

The trio was arrested after raids on homes in Carramar, Auburn, Merrylands, Greystanes and St Clair.

During the searches, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash were seized.

Police said two of the men allegedly assaulted a man inside a toilet at Sydney Olympic Park.

The pair, both 18, were charged and were granted bail to appear before the children's court next month.

A 19-year-old man was charged with drug supply and dealing with the property proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and will appear at court later today.

Detective Chief Superintendent Darren Bennett said organised criminal groups often recruit young people to carry out crimes.

"We will be alleging those charged are part of an organised criminal network who carry out a range of illicit activities on behalf of others – including the assault they've been charged over today," he said.

Bennett added police are also carrying out searches on the state's Central Coast where more than $100,000 has been seized from different locations.
