Peter Foster granted bail over alleged betting scam
Notorious businessman Peter Foster has been granted bail, with a court told there is a problem with the charges against him.
Foster was arrested in Port Douglas in August as he walked his dogs along a beach.
He was extradited to NSW to face allegations he defrauded a man of $2 million through a betting scam.

His company claimed to use experts to place bets on sporting events but police alleged the Bitcoin was transferred to him instead.
Foster appeared on screen in Central Local Court which heard the "Crown has changed position, it no longer opposes bail".
His barrister Philip Strickland, SC, told the court there is a "jurisdiction" issue with the charges and negotiations were taking place.
Foster will be subject to strict conditions which include that he hand over a $180,000 surety and not be in possession of a mobile phone.
He has also been ordered not to leave his home unless it is to report to police, see his lawyers or for a medical emergency.
The case returns to court in a month.
