NSW bikie charged after alleged saw attack

A bikie gang member will face court after he allegedly attacked a man with a circular saw in northeastern NSW last year.

The 31-year-old assaulted a 30-year-old man at a house in North Lismore in the early hours of November 17, police say.

The victim was taken to Lismore Base Hospital where he underwent surgery for injuries to his face and arm.

Police arrested the 31-year-old at Goonellabah on Wednesday morning.

He was charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent and refused bail to appear at Lismore Local Court on Thursday.

Police will allege the men knew each other and it was a dispute over money.
