Man charged with allegedly stabbing next-door neighbour
An apparent neighbourhood dispute has ended with one man going into cardiac arrest from a stab wound and the other facing court.
The men were heard arguing at the public housing block they both live at in Normanhurst, in Sydney's north-west, about 9.30pm on Tuesday.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 57-year-old bleeding from a serious stab wound to his stomach.

The man went into cardiac arrest but paramedics performed CPR and revived him.
He is in Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
The man's neighbour, Joseph Gahar, was arrested nearby and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 60-year-old grandfather was refused bail and will appear in Hornsby Local Court today.

Neighbours told 9News the ordeal was "scary" and said the two men, who live next door to each other, had a history of arguments over the years.
"Obviously, mortifying. There's lots of young families, kids and dog-walkers that go up and down this road," one local said.
"But, thankfully, the fella is okay."
Another said it was a "shock in this beautiful little suburb of ours".
