No talk of ETS in coalition: Joyce

Nationals leader Barnaby Joyce insists there is no discussion within the coalition on an emissions trading scheme.

Labor has announced if elected to government it will pursue such a scheme to deal with climate change - a policy previously supported by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull which led to his downfall as opposition leader.

"There is no discussion about an ETS - so that hare is running but it's got nowhere to run to," Mr Joyce told reporters in Canberra on Wednesday.
