Woman dies after being hit by car

An elderly woman had died after being hit by a car in south-west Sydney.
The 81-year-old was struck by a BMW as she walked across Camden Valley Way at Narellan yesterday afternoon.

She was taken to Liverpool Hospital by paramedics in a critical condition where she later died.
The uninjured driver – a 60-year-old woman – stopped and gave help along with members of the public.
She was later released by police after mandatory testing.
Police are continuing investigations into the crash.
