A construction worker has been injured after the forklift he was driving rolled on top of him on Sydney’s north shore.

Four NSW Ambulance crews as well as a specialist operations team rushed to a construction site on Willoughby Road in Crows Nest this morning following reports a man had been injured in a workplace accident.

When they arrived they found a man in his mid-30s had been driving a forklift down a ramp in the building’s basement when it rolled, crushing him in the process.
