Glenelg Highway smash: Two dead after fatal crash

Two people in their 20s have died in a fatal collision south west of Melbourne.

Police believe an Audi sedan was travelling along Waldrons Road in Carranballac at about 5pm yesterday when it turned onto the Glenelg Highway and collided with a four-wheel-drive travelling eastbound.

The two occupants, believed by police to be a man and a woman both in their 20s, died at the scene.
