Truck wedged under Melbourne CBD overpass

A large truck has slammed into an overpass in Melbourne’s CBD.

Images shared to social media show the large vehicle caught underneath the tram bridge on City Road near Ferrars Street in South Melbourne.

Emergency services were called to the scene, but no one was injured.

City Road has now been re-opened after earlier closures, and traffic is now flowing.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be detailed.
