A second report into former Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle's alleged sexual misconduct has been completed, but its contents are yet to be shared.

City of Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp said today that Ian Freckelton QC had completed his report, which investigated alleged misconduct at a Melbourne Health event in 2016 when Mr Doyle was chairman of the organisation.

Council is yet to receive a copy of Dr Freckelton's latest report.

"We think we would be expecting it at any time and from there we'll be able to consider our position," she told ABC radio.

In February Mr Doyle withdrew a legal bid to try to stop the council from releasing the report, which at that stage had not been completed.

The 65-year-old inked a secret agreement with council to cease a court injunction which would have prevented the investigation - and publication of a subsequent report - in exchange for the city promising not to pursue him for costs.

Kharla Williams alleges Mr Doyle touched her leg during the 2016 Melbourne Health dinner.

She is one of several women to make complaints about Mr Doyle.

An investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct was commissioned by the council's then-chief executive Ben Rimmer, following claims made by two councillors.

Mr Doyle has strenuously denied all claims of wrongdoing.
