Out-of-control car collides with vehicles on Melbourne freeway

A high-speed chase unfolded on a major Melbourne freeway this morning after an out-of-control car careered into several other vehicles.
At least one person was arrested as the drama came to a crashing end on Mickleham Road at the Tullamarine Freeway.
Police were attempting to intercept a silver Holden Commodore with no registration plates when the drama unfolded about 9.55am.

Drivers told 3AW “they “couldn’t believe their eyes” as they watched an out-of-control car career down the freeway.
“They were swerving all over the road, I was worried that were going to flip it over,” Tegan told Neil Mitchell.
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
The outbound entry ramp to the Tullamarine Freeway was also closed.
VicRoads urged drivers to allow extra time.
No one was injured in the incident.
The man and woman both remain in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
