Cleaners discovered two small devices lodged between lockers and the toilet walls in staff change rooms, with one facing inside the change rooms and another under the toilet doors.

Hospital CEO Roger Pendred told 9News.com.au the discovery was "very disturbing" and said the hospital is taking the incident "very seriously".

Mr Pendred said police were alerted as soon as the discovery was made with counseling available to staff members.

“It’s unclear who installed the devices and the investigation remains ongoing,” a police spokeswoman confirmed.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
